LESSON LOCATION & INSTRUMENT

All lessons are taught in person at my home studio in Seattle’s Seward Park neighborhood, on a 1925 Steinway M grand piano.

STUDENT PIANO REQUIREMENTS

To ensure effective practice, students must have—or be willing to acquire—an acoustic or digital piano in good working order. This should include:

  • 88 full-sized keys

  • Touch-sensitive or weighted action

  • A sustain/damper pedal

LESSON SCHEDULING

Learning piano with the goal of true proficiency is both intensive and deeply rewarding. Consistent weekly lessons create the strongest foundation for growth and steady progress.

  • Flat Monthly Rate Weekly Option – Reserve a regular weekly time to build consistency and momentum.

  • À la Carte Option – For those unable to commit weekly, lessons may be scheduled individually at your convenience.

RATES

Lesson rates range from $53–$65 per hour, depending on frequency and commitment level.

  • Weekly Lessons (60 minutes) – $200/month (flat monthly rate, regardless of the number of lesson weeks in the month; equivalent to $52/hour)

  • À la carte Lessons (60 minutes) – $65 per lesson

HOURS

Lessons are offered:

  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Friday: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m

No weekend or evening lessons after 6:00 p.m.
