PAYMENT

Payment is due on or before the first lesson of each month (for weekly students) or at or before your lesson (for non-weekly students).

Accepted payment methods: Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and checks.

CANCELLATIONS

Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to cancel—text is preferred for same-day cancellations.

Weekly (Flat Rate) Students

  • May reschedule cancelled lessons, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations are not credited or refunded. A number of missed lessons are built into the tuition model.

Non-Weekly Students

  • May reschedule cancelled lessons, subject to availability.

  • Lessons that have been paid for are not credited or refunded.

If I Cancel

  • For a la carte students, if I cancel due to illness or personal reasons, the lesson will be credited.

  • For flat-rate students, a certain number of cancellations are already built into the tuition model; if I need to cancel an unusual number of lessons and am unable to reschedule them, I will provide credit.

If You Cancel, You May Choose To:

  1. Reschedule the lesson for another day/time

  2. Extend your next lesson (e.g., a 90-minute lesson)

  3. Receive remote guidance by:

  • Emailing questions (e.g., fingering issues, rhythm problems, repertoire selection)

  • Send a video/audio recording for feedback

  • Forfeit the lesson

All rescheduling and extended lesson options are subject to my availability and cannot be guaranteed.

ENDING LESSONS

If you decide to discontinue lessons, I appreciate at least one week’s notice.

Lessons already paid for are non-refundable.
